THE SANTA STAKES (1.60 m) – Saturday Dec 17, 2011

THE HORSE DEALS CHRISTMAS PUDDING STAKES – Thursday Dec. 15, 2011
Dermott Lennon, Ireland’s 2002 World Champion, produced a thrilling finale to the Christmas Pudding Stakes, shaving more than a second off the stiff target set by Olympia favourite John Whitaker. Dermott said of his mare, Loughview Lou-Lou, a nine-year-old bay by Jack of Diamonds, “She’s a good old Irish-bred, very versatile and clever on her feet. She was in a bit of a bad mood for bit, but when she won a class in Geneva last weekend, I thought it was worth bringing her over to Olympia. I haven’t been here for a few years, so it’s great to be back.” Full results here
