Lesson with a Pro – Doug Payne: How NOT to Ride Indoor Eventing, presented by Five Star Tack

US Event rider Doug Payne has created a new instructional video to demonstrate what not to do while competing in the Indoor Eventing class at The Royal Winter Fair.
Doug’s first successful training video The Rider’s Eye, created in collaboration with Jim Wofford, is a revolutionary video with narration, enabling you to virtually jump into the saddle via a helmet camera. This new video takes it one step further, enabling you to also virtually jump off the saddle.
Great for anyone who wants to improve their riding! Thanks Doug!
World Premiere of Doug Payne’s Super Awesome Instructional Video with Helmet Cam

It’s been many years since I’ve jumped, but this brought back those painfull memories. Thanks for the helmet cam. Awesome attitude. Glad you’re OK.
Glad you didn’t have too tough a landing and you didn’t get hurt. Love that you can laugh about it all. Thank goodness for the helmet cam!
And LOVE that Five Star Tack bridle staying in piece through it all!
Glad you’re OK, Doug! Love the humor, love the video, and love how warmly those wonderful Canadians welcome a rider from my neck of the woods — the Jerz!
you are my HERO!!!!!!!!
you are awesome!
I luv your attitude….. sometimes crap just happens and you just pick up and go on….
good job and great role model to follow…
That was such a fun video. I want that horse. I think he has a great personality. He’d be perfect for my Hunter aspirations!!!
Doug, thanks for posting this and being so funny about it all! An excellent example of a good attitude and sportsmanship!
