For our next contest, ECOGOLD is generously donating a Memory Foam Triple Protection Half Pad. Yep, it’s the one in the M&M video!!

1. Memory foam to reduce pressure points and fill the gaps between your horse and your saddle.

The winner will have the choice of jumper or dressage style, and colour (white or black).

MY Burghley Contest
To participate, please send us an article about YOUR Burghley experience – you don’t have to be an eventer, please read the various options:
- If you have been to Burghley – tell us about your experience, when did you go, what was it like… did you shop much? lol
- If you have never been to Burghley, but have followed the event from a distance – tell us about your memories, did you follow it in magazines, books? did one of your friends go? Or you could write about this year’s event or about a favourite rider who will be competing there
- Or it could be about YOUR personal Burghley – a goal that you aspire to reach. It could be competing at a local show, overcoming a setback, write about something you would consider a great personal achievement
- Lastly, if you ARE GOING to this year’s Burghley Horse Trials – how soon can you blog from there?!!!! Your first post will be counted towards the contest and the others will be to make everyone else jealous.
Seriously, we’re open to all formats and again, if you are a dressage or hunter jumper rider, please make it your own and participate.
Technical Details
- The articles should be 1 page long but we’re flexible (so not 2 paragraphs, not 20 pages long… we’re looking for “normal HJU blog post” length).
- Please email your article to info@horsejunkiesunited.com with at least a photo. It doesn’t have to be a photo from Burghley – it could be a photo of yourself at the barn. Make sure you have the rights to the photo and let us know who took it. Photo specifications: send the photo in .jpeg format, 400 dpi or higher resolution and please attach it to the email – not in a Word Document
- We will publish all the articles received that fit that criteria and have a photo.
- Every article published will be assigned a number
- Once all the articles have been published, the winner will be picked by drawing a number using a random number generator
Deadline: You can start sending your articles now. We will accept submissions until Friday September 16, 2011
We will make the draw and announce the winner, after all the articles submitted have been published. Tentatively, we should have a winner the following week.
