Our guest blogger Trish Bosch sent us this photo yesterday… with an “Only in BC” caption.
What at first glance looks like a completely staged photo for a funny calendar…. is a real photo, taken last week at a horse show!
It was taken at the Topline Stables Horse Trials in Salmon Arm, BC, that took place last weekend (June 25th – 26th). Topline Stables is the farm where Canadian Eventing Team riders Rebecca Howard and Stephanie Rhodes-Bosch did their first Horse Trials.
The pony, owned by Nick Holmes-Smith and ridden by his daughter Colette, is named Hoofprints. He is in his late 20s…. and has packed many a kid around British Columbia cross-country courses!
